|Can I return my item if I change my mind?
We would love to be able to accept returns but due to the intimate nature of the products we sell, we are unable to accept returns or exchange purchased toys and products unless the product is defective. This is for the health, safety and peace of mind of our customers. Many states have regulations prohibiting the re-sale of products that come into contact with any body part or body fluid.
Many of our quality manufacturers offer warranties and product exchanges if you have a performance issue after the sale.
Any item that is designed to come into contact with any body part or fluid is non-returnable and non-resalable. Once these items leave one our warehouses, these items are considered used, and therefore cannot be returned to the manufacturer or distributor even if the product package is unopened. Special exceptions can be made; but you must contact Back Porch General Store prior to attempting a return. There may be a 20-40% restocking fee.
Why is your Return Policy “30 Day Returns” if you don’t accept returns?
eBay does not understand industry standards, government regulations, and common sense regarding the return of sex toys and intimate products; therefore, our only options are to either offer 30 Day Returns or No Returns. Offering No Returns negatively impacts our position when a buyer searches for an item. We have decided to use the 30 Day Return policy because we stand behind our products and we will gladly replace any damaged or defective products within 30 days of your purchase. Most buyers and customers understand our inability to accept returns. If you decide to open a return case with eBay, we will ask eBay to close the case in our favor. In the event eBay rules in your favor, you must pay the return shipping. We are a small family business and every returned product is destroyed and we take a significant financial loss.
My item arrived damaged or it doesn’t work?
If an item is found to be defective within 30 days of purchase, we will replace it with the same item. Please contact us at email@example.com to tell us the issue with your item We will then issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) via email and provide instructions on getting the product back to us. A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER MUST ACCOMPANY ANY RETURN IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE PROCESSED. We will not accept any return without one. Once the defective item is received back into our warehouse (shipping it back is your responsibility), we will promptly ship a new replacement to you free of charge. Any item returned must have ALL original parts and packaging, batteries if applicable, cords, controls, blank warranty cards, instructions etc.
Can I cancel my order?
Your order is processed and shipped the same day in most instances. The order can be cancelled; but, you must notify us immediately. Once your order has been shipped, you cannot cancel without a restocking penalty listed above. Please order carefully.
